We start our dissections this week!! For some it's an "Eww" moment but for most it's a "Yay" moment. On Tuesday and Wednesday, due to the NESA testing, we will have block scheduling and will conduct our dissections of earthworm, grasshopper and crayfish.
For the honors students they will start their presentations on each phylum. They will be the teacher for the day and teach their class about their phylum through presentations, worksheets, and/or videos. This will be a great learning tool for them and plus they can gain some insight on what it's like to be me for a day.

Week's plan (approx.):
Monday 4/13: Hon: Porifera present  Gen: Porifera/Cnidaria notes & A.K. Book
Tuesday 4/14: NESA block, odd periods. Dissection lab
Wednesday 4/15: NESA block, even periods. Dissection lab
Thursday 4/16: Hon: Cnidaria present   Gen: Annelid/Nematode notes & A.K. Book
Friday 4/17: Hon: Nematode present   Gen: Nematode/Arthropod notes & A.K. Book
