This week we will learn about dichotomous keys and cladograms. Dichotomous keys are fantastic tools to help you identify different organisms. They are widely used to identify plants and animals but we are going to get some practice organizing some items as well. Cladograms show evolutionary relationships with different organisms, like a giant family tree. We are going to look at the classification of life with Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species.
We will have a short quiz on Friday over dichotomous keys and some information on cladograms.

Our week (approx):
Monday 3/23: Intro to dichotomous keys
Tuesday 3/24: Dichotomous key practice
Wednesday 3/25: Cladogram Intro
Thursday 3/26: Cladogram practice and Dichotomous key practice
Friday 3/27: Dichotomous key Quiz
