Well evolution is over with and we now move on to animal behavior. Learning about animal behavior will open your eyes as to why certain animals behave and do the things they do. Everything around you from the ant colonies below your feet, the Robin singing in the morning to wake you up or you falling asleep at night and waking in the morning can all be tied to certain animal behaviors. It really is fascinating to learn about the different studies that have have shown these behaviors in action, like Pavlov and his dog's drool at the sound of the bell.

We will have a short quiz on animal behavior this Friday.

This week (approx):
Tuesday 3/17: Is behavior an adaptation, Ch 29 Guided notes and behavior sketches
Wednesday 3/18: Behavior notes with videos
Thursday 3/19: Animal Behavior worksheets and sketch
Friday 3/20: Behavior quiz, Intro to Dichotomous Keys

I attached animal behavior vocabulary sheet. This will be important for you to fill out correctly. Everything definition is from the book! IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO COMPLETE THIS. Students will get a hard copy in class.
