This week we will be wrapping up our Astronomy Unit this week. We are going to start with Habitable Zones with an activity dealing with students try to sell Earth why their solar system should be the next site for a new Earth based off the new solar system's habitable zone. Wednesday we will covering the review for the Astronomy Unit test. The students will be getting a hard copy of the review today, but the review has been up on my website since Friday. O
Our next unit we will cover will be the macromolecules: proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids. This is a great introductory unit for many of our units to come through out the first semester. It is also great to know the macromolecules for basic nutritional knowledge as they get older, they should know each one is used in your body.

We will have a Test on Thursday, September 11th. After test students will be checked out a biology book. Please make sure it is covered by Monday.

Our week's plan (approximately):
Monday 9/8: Solar System Salesman activity, Habitable Zones
Tuesday 9/9: Finish and present Solar System Salesman activity
Wednesday 9/10: Review for Test
Thursday 9/11: Astronomy Test and check out biology books
Friday 9/12: Introduction to Macromolecules
